A Festival is a day or period of celebration, typically for religious reasons. Festival boosts up energy within us, after many days of work and stress. After a lot more of our offices, festival is a reason, we get motivated once again. Festivals take us close to our heritage and culture, customs and traditions, rituals and dressing style. There are more than known 42,000 major and minor festivals in our country.
Madurai is called the city of temples and festivals. Madurai is 10 hours from Chennai which is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. More than a 100 temples can be found in and around Madurai.
In today's period, people forward wishes. In olden times, people used to write letters or visit houses and wish their near and dear ones. A hand-written letter which is kept close to the heart cannot be compared with a message which is deleted after the festival gets over.
