So today I have come up with one more new blog topic, which is entirely going to change some of your eating habits. Here is one more blog about health and fitness. This logbook gives you the best possible information about lemons and its advantages.
So Here We Go ~
Lemons contain Vitamin C, fiber and beneficial plant compounds. They bring some really good changes in the body. In fact it helps to control heart health, weight and digestive health. We really sometimes add lemons into food to add flavor but in small quantity. Lemons contain Vitamin C in good quantity and Vitamin C is essential for health, and there are many health problems - sometimes lemons cure.
So, this article gives you the best views to lemons .
1. Lowering Stroke Risk - According to a study in 2012, the flavonoids in citrus help to cure ischemic stroke in women.
A study of data nearly 79,000 women over 14 years showed who ate most this citrus fruit had a 19% lower risk of ischemic stroke than who consumed least.
Ischemic stroke is the most common type of stroke. Regular consumption of food that contain flavonoids help against ischemic stroke. Although who smoked or are alcoholic are less likely to have benefits taking place in their body.
So start consuming lemons and lessen the risk of ischemic stroke.
2. Blood Pressure - One study from 2014, specifies that women in Japan who walked and consumed lemons had less Blood Pressure than those people who didn't consume lemons regularly.
Not only lemon consumption but also walking helps prevent Blood Pressure.
3. Cancer Prevention - Yes! Trust me, lemons help to prevent a fatal disease like cancer because lemons are an excellent source of Vitamin C.
Free radicals cause cell damage that can lead to cancer. Antioxidants help in preventing this.
4. Maintaining A Healthy Complexity - Vitamin C plays a vital role in formation of collagen which is the support system of the skin.
Sun exposure, pollution, age and other factors can actually cause skin damage. Lemons help in preventing this type of damage. A 2014 study says that either eating Vitamin C or applying it topically can keep your skin away from acne, rashes or pimples.
5. Prevents Asthama - People with asthama who have the intake of higher amounts of Vitamin C when they have colds may experience fewer Asthama Attacks.
There is this found evidence that Vitamin C also benefits with chronical hypersensitivity when they have common colds.
6. Increasing Iron Absorption - A body with iron deficiency leads to the cause of Anemia.
Pairing of foodstuffs rich in Vitamin C and iron can trigger gastrointestinal problems in people if you are taking iron supplements. It is always good to consume iron in the form of dietary sources such as beef liver, lentils, raisins, dried bins, animal meats and spinach.
Squeezing a little lemon juice into a salad that contains baby spinach leaves helps in the intake of iron as well as Vitamin C.
7. Boosts Immune System - Now intake of Vitamin C during this pandemic has become so necessary. Studies say that Vitamin C supplements are not proved to be effective as compared to consuming lemons or lemon juices.
Squeezing whole lemon juice into a glass of hot water with a large spoon full of honey makes it a soothing drink for a person suffering from cough and cold.
8. Weight Loss - A 2008 study says that rodents who had lemon peel phenols with a high fat diet for 12 weeks gain less weight than those who didn't do so.
In 2016 Korean women followed a lemon detox diet which resulted in greater improvements in insulin resistance, body fat, BMI, body fat than consuming other diets.
Further research is needed to confirm whether lemons help in weight loss and if so, then how.
Vitamin C - as lemons are full of Vitamin C they help to heal -
The deficiency of Vitamin C is known as scurvy. Scurvy is rare in US but it can affect people who don't have a varied diet.
Symptoms can start to appear within a month of not consuming Vitamin C.

Energy - 16.8 Kcal
Carbohydrates - 5.41 g
Calcium - 15.1 mg
Iron - 0.35 mg
Magnesium - 4.6 mg
Phosphorus - 9.3 mg
Potassium - 80 mg
Selenium - 0.2 mcg
Vitamin C - 30.7 mg
Lemon Water - Consume lemon water instead of juice or soda might be beneficial because it reduces a person's intake of sugar.
And that's it.
So the next time you run for your soda switch the drink with lemon water also the next time you are on a trek and dehydration is always going to be the extra uninvited guest but lemons are invited. Have lemon juice and go ahead.
